QwickPitch (Analog Model)

The QwikPitch (QP)tools have been developed to make the determination of the pitch angle of the rowlock both quicker and easier. The degree of rowlock pitch is important to coaches and athletes. It is equally important for them to understand that the degree of pitch is highly variable across shells, measuring devices, and those individuals making the measurements.  Thie QwickPitch Analog tool is slightly larger than a credit card and easy to use with just one hand. The QP plate is free of deflection error in length and has only a maximum of .35o variability horizontally. The QP graduated level device is based upon a ten inch radius with a chord length of .171"/ degree. The larger degree chord length and the direct read design of the level maximize the accuracy of pitch measurement.
