Nathaniel Sass (Buffalo, N.Y./University of Pennsylvania) and Collin Hay (Shrewsbury, Mass./University of Delaware) won gold in the under 23 lightweight men's pair at the 2022 World Rowing Under 23 Championships on Lake Varese in Varese, Italy.
The pair, rowing out of the Buffalo Scholastic Rowing Association, made their first Worlds Appearance in 2021, when they took 4th place. Returning in 2022, coached by RJ Rubino, they took gold with a time of 6:36.94 in the final.
